They are tasked with managing and organising the data into a format that data analysts, business intelligence and data scientist professionals can build reports & drive insights.
We recruit for data engineers who build data warehouses, whether that be on-premise or cloud, develop data pipelines and ETL tools and ensure the data flow from data sources through to analytical tools are seamlessly integrated and efficient.
A data engineer will have an excellent toolkit including: SQL, on-premise experience (Teradata, Hadoop, Kafka), cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP), ETL (Alteryx, Informatica) & BI tools and will have applied their toolkit in an organisation.
