Management Accountant

The role of the management accountant is to take a commercial lens and apply it to the performance of the business. They prepare financial information that helps drive business strategy and decision making.

Quite often they will take a forward-looking approach to accounting by preparing financial plans, budgets and forecasts for the business and track how the business has performed against these numbers.

• Professionally qualified through ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Previous experience preparing monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts for a business.
