State Super operates to invest, support and administer defined benefit superannuation schemes worth approximately $37 billion, on behalf of the NSW Government and associated employers. 
  
We now have an exciting career opportunity for a suitably qualified Senior Investment Control Analyst to join one of Australia's largest superannuation funds. Reporting to the Senior Manager Investment Control, you will provide operational and investment compliance support to the Investment team, who are responsible for the investment decisions of the Defined Contribution and University options of the State Super Pooled Fund.   In addition to the day to day operational and investment support your role will also include:

  • Contributing to due diligence reviews and transition management.
  • Reviewing, interpreting and assessing data provided by the custodian and third-party investment managers.
  • Aligning operational processes with market best practice.
  • Managing State Super’s securities lending programme. 

To succeed in this role, you will have relevant financial markets experience within a custodian, fund manager or superannuation trustee and coupled with strong data analysis knowledge. You will also have tertiary qualifications in finance and/or accounting.
