  • Partner with ELT on M&A, budgeting and forecasting

  • Salary: $120k to $130k + super, depending on experience.
     

About the Company:

TOM Executive and I have engaged exclusively with an established leader in the Australian commercial products industry. As part of a high-growth PE firm, my client has acquired over 6 companies over the past 5 years. With a strong focus on delivering high-quality products and services, they serve a diverse range of customers across government, mining and infrastructure sectors.

 

Due to this growth with over 15 businesses in their current portfolio and further acquisitions in the pipeline over the next 5 years, they are recruiting a highly capable, commercially strong business partner to join their FP&A team.

 

Role responsibilities:

  • Oversee the integration of acquired businesses into the Group, ensuring smooth transitions, immediate reporting, and alignment with integration objectives.
  • Assist with the Group’s annual budgeting process, regular re-forecasting, and medium-term financial modelling.
  • Provide financial modelling and support for M&A activities, including integrating new acquisitions into Group reporting and aligning accounting policies.
  • Develop and implement tailored pre-acquisition and post-acquisition plans using effective project management strategies.
  • Enhance integration processes by standardizing tools, developing an integration playbook, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare and deliver Group-level Board reports and ad hoc internal reports, ensuring timely and insightful analysis.
  • Support change initiatives by driving adoption of integration efforts and aligning stakeholder expectations across the organization.
     

About you:

  • CA or CPA qualification with over 3 years of audit/ Transaction Services/ M&A Advisory experience AND 2 years of commercial business partnering experience.
  • Transaction Services/ M&A advisory background is ideal but not necessary
  • Confident communication skills and problem-solving ability
