Senior Commercial Analyst - Retail

T+O+M Executive and I are working with a large, established retail group to recruit a Senior Commercial Analyst with exceptional commercial business partnering skills. 

As the Senior Commercial Analyst at a group level, you will play a key role in business partnering with senior finance and business executives with actionable commercial insights and commentary.

Role responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present business cases, commentary on variance analysis and financial results to group executives.
  • Drive timely analysis and insights on periodic reporting of financial and non-financial KPIs, trends and competitor analysis.
  • Partner with group strategy team to drive group strategy through the FP&A team.
  • Assist and review business cases for new and ongoing projects in liaison with project owners and department heads.
  • Analysis of financial performance of projects and provide commercial insights from variance analysis for financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Recognize risks and commercial opportunities for the group.
  • Ad hoc analysis as required by the senior management.
  • Continuous improvements of analysis and reporting.

About you:

  • CA or CPA qualification with over 6 years of audit and commercial partnering experience.
  • Big 4 audit manager background with key senior stakeholder management experience.
  • Confident communication skills and problem-solving ability
