  • Immediate start on a temp to perm 12-month FTC
     

T+O+M Executive and I have partnered with an established construction company to recruit an experienced Payroll Manager for a stand-alone opportunity. Working within a wider finance team, this role will report to the CFO and work alongside with the wider finance team.

Note: This is an IMMEDIATE start for a 12-months FTC with potential to be made permanent. Hands on experience in end-to-end payroll within a complex payroll is a must.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end weekly and monthly payroll, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Ensure compliance with EBAs, payroll legislation, and tax obligations.
  • Partner with finance and HR teams on payroll reporting, forecasting, and reconciliations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency.
  • Manage external payroll providers, audits, and statutory reporting requirements.
     

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Payroll Manager role within a large, complex environment
  • Industry experience in construction, property development, engineering, or infrastructure preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of EBAs, awards, payroll tax, superannuation, and compliance regulations.
  • Proven experience leading payroll transformation, system upgrades, and process automation.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills
