We are partnering with a leading global SaaS business to recruit a Payroll Analyst for an immediate-start, 4-week contract. This is a unique opportunity to work within a high-calibre finance team and gain exposure to process improvement and reconciliation work within a global, tech-driven environment.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Financial Controller and working closely with the Payroll Manager, this role will not involve payroll processing. Instead, it will focus on critical clean-up and payroll system enhancement projects that require a strong attention to detail and a hands-on, analytical mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a deep-dive review and update of LSL and other leave balances for all AU/ UK employee profiles within MicrOpay.
  • Work through historical employment data and leave records to ensure accurate setup and sync with the ESS platform.
  • Investigate returned superannuation payments due to incorrect data.
  • Liaise with CFS and affected employees to rectify errors, update records in MicrOpay, and ensure accurate fund remittance.
  • Support the Payroll Manager and Financial Controller in broader data clean-up and payroll system integrity initiatives.

About You:

  • Immediately available or on short notice.
  • Prior experience with MicrOpay or payroll system clean-up projects highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical, reconciliation, and investigative skills.
  • A process improvement mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

  • Duration: 4 weeks (with possible extension)
  • Location: Hybrid working available, with flexibility to work from home or Sydney-based office.
