Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the finance function, providing direction on financial control, budgeting, and reporting for the business and its funds.
- Oversee deal structuring, term sheets, and deal sheets with a strong focus on financial control, distribution, and payments.
- Play a key role in fund structuring, treasury management, and optimizing capital deployment across the business.
- Help scale the business through the enhancement of financial systems and processes, ensuring efficiency and robust financial control.
- Work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, engaging with all team members to drive success and meet business objectives.
- Manage accounting, audit, tax, regulatory compliance, and legal requirements for both the company and its funds.
Desired Profile:
- Experience: At least 10 years in finance and accounting with strong exposure to transactions and fund management. A background in Big 4 transactions is highly regarded.
- Financial Expertise: Proficiency in financial control, 3-way modeling, fund structuring and treasury management.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Proven ability to thrive in a fast-moving, growth-focused environment. Comfortable working in a high-intensity, high-growth setting.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to challenge and engage with colleagues at all levels. A hands-on approach to leading a small, growing finance function.
