About the Role
Our client is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their dynamic finance team in Sydney. This role is pivotal in driving financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting while enhancing reporting processes. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to provide insightful financial analysis, support strategic decision-making, and contribute to process improvements across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead month-end reporting activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Drive budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial insights.
- Enhance and automate reporting processes for improved efficiency.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business analysis.
- Manage expected credit loss provisioning.
- Partner with various business functions to provide financial expertise.
- Support ad hoc projects and initiatives within the finance team.
About You
- CA or CPA qualification (essential).
- Proven experience in financial analysis, ideally within non-bank lending.
- Strong Excel and reporting skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Analytical mindset with a passion for process improvement.
- Ability to navigate multiple systems and manage diverse tasks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
