The Role
This high-impact Financial Accountant will play a key role in the company’s global finance operations. Reporting to the Financial Controller (Ex-Deloitte), assisting the Finance Manager (Ex-KPMG), you’ll manage day-to-day accounting, streamline processes, and expand into broader business functions across HR, operations, and employee experience.
Key tasks will include, but will not be restricted to:
· Own month-end close, management reporting and variance analysis
· Oversee operational accounting: AR, AP, payroll, BAS, and cashflow
· Manage treasury and ensure full monthly reconciliations
· Prepare tax and compliance reports (AU & US) with external advisors
· Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and updating financial models
· Support finance improvement initiatives and automation projects
· Contribute to broader business functions: onboarding, events, office ops
The Candidate
· CA/CPA qualified or near completion
· 4+ years' experience, ideally in external audit or Tech/ SaaS industry
· Self-starter who’s adaptable, tech-savvy, and thrives in a lean, agile team
