T+O+M Executive and I are working with a multi-national, well-known leader in the media industry to recruit a high calibre Financial Accountant with a strong audit background to join their high performing team.
This will be a great opportunity for a CA/CPA qualified auditor or an experienced accountant to learn and develop under a team of ex-auditors.
Role responsibilities:
- Weekly and monthly accounting responsibilities for Australian & NZ subsidiaries including month-end journals, fixed assets, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments and depreciation calculations.
- Lease (IFRS 16) transactions and maintenance.
- Working closely with the group and FP&A team for revenue recognition and reconciliations.
- Prepare BAS, FBT and payroll tax submissions.
- Continuous improvements of analysis and reporting.
About you:
- CA or CPA qualified/ working towards with accounting or audit background.
- A go-getter with excellent communication skills and problem-solving ability
