The purpose of the Financial Accountant role is to ensure accurate and timely accounting, reconciliations and other financial control tasks related to transactions in the business. You will collaborate with a range of internal contacts and external stakeholders, performing a broad range of finance activities ensuring financial integrity.
Responsibilities
- Ownership of all accounting, reporting and reconciliation requirements of assigned sections
- Accurate and timeless processing of day to day financial transactions
- Prepare financial statements for corporate and trust entities and assist across external reporting
- Contribution to finance projects and supporting continuous improvement or process and controls
You
- Accounting Degree & CA/CPA or working towards full qualification
- Minimum 3 years experience in financial accounting
- Ability to utilise technology to achieve outcomes and support process improvements
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills able to work effectively in a team environment and drive results
This is initially a 12 month matt leave cover.
