Australian financial institution is seeking an Audit Manager to support their Group Audit function on an initial 6-month contract. There has been significant change happening across the business that has lead to an increase to the audit scope, and the need for this person to come on and support key projects as well as contribute to the BAU activity within the team. 

This is a highly visible position that will provide you with exposure to senior leaders and stakeholders, with the high possibility of moving to a permanent role before the end of the contract with the team earmarked for further growth. 

Responsibilities will also include:

• Manage and lead the delivery of audits focused on Business Banking.
• Effectively engage and partner with senior stakeholders 
• Maintain high personal standards in the timely completion of quality deliverables 

Required experience:

• 5+ years’ experience within an internal audit function, or external audit within consultancy 
• Experience with Financial Services is highly desired 
• Relevant tertiary and professional qualifications
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to manage deadlines effectively
