Originally from Pakistan, Anum grew up in Saudi Arabia where her life included riding a camel to school, so she was slightly disappointed the story of Australian and riding kangaroo’s wasn’t true!

Anum is passionate about learning, which is clear by the variety of subjects she studied at university, which included economics, psychology, innovation & strategy and finance. Her experience with psychology triggered her passion for human-centred design/problem-solving/strategies, which led to one clear career path – recruitment!

Anum decided to turn up her life experience by moving to Sydney in 2019, which is a decision she could not be happier with. Her entry into the professional world in Australia was at an Executive Search firm, where she developed her passion for connecting with people and understanding what makes them happy. She has brought this obsession forward into T+O+M, where she is excited to continue to change peoples’ lives.

Anum recruits within our audit, risk and compliance team with a specialist focus on IT Audit, IT Risk and Cyber Governance. She supports candidates who are making their first move out of consultancy, as well as those moving within industry.

Anum is most complimented by the time she invests and care she takes in understanding her candidates personal and professional drivers in making a career move, so she can find their dream next step. She believes in making her candidates click perfectly with their future teams and leaders.

Football is life for Anum, as she passionately watches Real Madrid, even if it involves 5am mornings now she is on Australian time (which are mostly watched in bed with one eye closed)

If Anum could spend a year learning a new skill, it would be:  Learn Spanish so she can understand every post-match interview by the Real Madrid players.
