T+O+M Executive hosted its first Leaders in Talent networking event on 30th March 2023 -  a Gin Tasting evening at Frank Mac’s in the Rocks.

The evening brought together Talent Acquisition leaders from across several sectors who shared ideas on the current recruitment market trends as well as learning a few things about gin!

3 main themes emerged form the networking discussions:

• Firstly, despite a slight slow down in job vacancies and borders opening up, most clients were still facing challenges in finding suitably qualified and experienced candidates for open roles.
• Secondly, there was a shared demand for very specialised skills sets, particularly SMEs in People and Culture, for example Learning and Development and Workforce planning positions. 
• Lastly, and as a result of the above, there is an emphasis on retaining and developing internal talent within businesses. 

This was the first of many regular Talent Acquisition events that T+O+M will be hosting to allow a diverse network of professionals to discuss trends and developments in an ever-evolving market.
