• The Data Engineering market in Australia has 5294 individuals and is growing at 4.8% year on year
• It’s male dominant currently, with 73% male and 27% femal
• The median tenure in this market is 1.5 years and 1107 of these individuals have changed jobs within the last year
• Banking and Fin services represent 23% of the marke
• Cloud technologies are ever more present as businesses are shifting their data to the cloud. 42% have used Azure, 43% AWS, and 16% GC
• The skills that have had the highest level of year on year growth is DBT (90% growth), Databricks (84%), DevOps Practices (82%) and Snowflake (63%)
